One day we went to our classmate, Shaikah’s farm. She invited us to her farm to eat lunch and see all the animals. We saw cows, goats, ducks, and chickens. The weather was so hot, so we had to stay inside her small farmhouse. That’s where we had lunch. We had meat and chicken. In Emirate culture the guests must break the skull of the goat. It is a long-standing tradition. We tried to break the skull but we were unsuccessful. Some people eat the eyes and brain of the goat since it is suppose to be nutritional.

When we finished eating lunch we went outside. We went to pick green mangos, which are a common fruit in the U.A.E. Aside from the green mangos; we also saw date trees and tea plants.
